HOW TO APPLY
Step 1

Logon to www.uniport.edu.ng
Step 2

First Choice Candidates: On the left sidebar, under "Quick Links", click on "2010/2011 POST-UTME" and then click on "Confirm UTME Details".

Second Choice Candidates: On the left sidebar, under "Quick Links", click on "2010/2011 POST-UTME" and then click on "Enter UTME Details", input your JAMB Registration number and complete the form accurately with your details (as they appear on your JAMB result printout). You will be issued a modified JAMB registration number like 06123456AB(2). Use this modified registration number in step 3.
Step 3

Input your (modified) Jamb Registration Number and confirm UTME details.

Print Payment Slip

Proceed with payment slip to any branch of the following banks nationwide and make application fee payment via eTranzact
(ask for the Officer-in-Charge of eTranzact payments)

Submit application form to generate examination details and Print Photo card
MATERIALS NEEDED FOR POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE

Candidates are required to come with the following:
• A clear copy of Photo-card printed online
• HB pencil, eraser, biro-pen, and non-programmable calculators.

NOTE:
• Candidates’ names on their 0’Level certificates and JAMB results must be same with what is filled on the Post UTME form
• Mobile phones, walkman, ipod and similar gadgets are not allowed into the screening venue.
• Candidates are strongly advised to identify their screening venues prior to the date of their screening as lateness to venues will not be tolerated.
• Candidates must apply within the Registration period as the Application form will be disabled at mid-night on Saturday, 14th August 2010
• Candidates must report to Screening Venues by 8am and 12 noon for the morning and afternoon sessions respectively
• Parents and guardians as well as uninvited security agents will not be allowed into the campus on the days of the screening exercise.

In view of the approval given by JAMB on the results of the 29th July, 2010 interactive session, the University of Ibadan hereby notify the successful candidates of the offer of provisional admission into the academic program indicated against their names.

The candidates should kindly signify acceptance of the admission offer by:


1. Paying the acceptance fee of seven thousand five hundred naira only (N7,500.00) into the AFRIBANK Plc, UI Branch, University Student Fee Account No. 0412848246618, at the nearest AFRIBANK Plc. Branch nationwide.


2. Printing a copy of the ACCEPTANCE FORM and submitting the filled form with evidence of the acceptance fee to the Admissions office, University of Ibadan.

Please note that you will not be allowed to matriculate and therefore become a bona-fide student of this University, if you do not complete all the stipulated registration processes.

3. Visit the BIODATA FORM page on http://www.admissions.ui.edu/biodata to upload your picture and signature. You are free to correct any information that is/are not properly displayed, however ensure that the information is not different from the information
you supplied to JAMB and the University earlier.


You are advised to be prepared by getting the following ready before the announcement of the dates for Clearance/Registration Exercise:


1. Confirmation of Provisional Admission (To be printed from www.admissions.ui.edu.ng later)


2. Original and 4 photocopies of JAMB letter of Admission


3. Original and 4 photocopies of the UME result slip


4. Original and 4 photocopies of your credentials – SSCE/GCE


5. Ten (10) recent passport size photographs


6. Original and 4 photocopies of Birth Certificate or Sworn Declaration of Age


7. Two letters of reference from two reputable persons – on letter headed papers

PROCEDURE FOR ON-LINE REGISTRATION
STEP 1
Proceed to any of the banks on the e-transact network and request to pay for uncial Post-UTME application form via e-transact.You will be required to pay the Post-UTME screening fee of N1,000.00 ( One thousand Naira only) and portal / bank processing charges of N550.00 (Five hundred and fifty Naira) only.

Step 2

Collect your e-transact receipt from the bank after payment and proceed to any internet center. Be sure you take with you a recent scanned passport photograph of yourself and an authentic sample of your scanned signature, as these will be required to be uploaded in the process of registration.



THE SCRATCH CARD OPTION
Post-UTME scratch cards are available for those who may have difficulties or delay in obtaining the e-transact receipt. Locations and selected cities to obtain the scratch cards are:

(i) Calabar - First Bank Marian road & WEMA Bank Plc MM Highway

(ii) First Bank Ikom branch

(iii) Port-Harcourt (First Bank Aba road)

(iv) Uyo - First Bank Head office.

(v) Owerri ( First Bank Plc)

On obtaining the scratch card, proceed to any internet center. Log on to Unical Portal. Click on 2010 POST-UTME REGISTRATION under Online Form link. The next page will require you to enter your JAMB Registration number and your scratch card number against the field provided. Click on log on and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the form.



FINAL STEP
Confirm your entry before clicking on submission. After clicking on submission, print the form as evidence of your registration and bring along to the screening venue.

DEADLINE
REGISTRATION WILL BE SHUT DOWN AT 12.00 MID NIGHT ON TUESDAY 17TH AUGUST, 2010
